Its seems like we have been pretty spoiled this year with a pretty mild temperature this winter, but man.... WHATS WITH THE SNOW WE KEEP GETTING? Today reminded me of the blizzard we had on January 10th. We weren't storm stayed today, but the blustering wind and poor visibility, cars in the ditches due to icy roads, etc. etc. etc. gives me the same chills all over again. It makes me crave a fire place in our home and a cup of hot chocolate and some time to read THE COACH by Art Williams.
We really can't complain, but honestly, I can't wait until spring time now. It really does make a person feel thankful for the four seasons. Each year, you appreciate the change of seasons that much more.
Here are some pics from January 10th that I never did get posting... The top two pictures are on our property. The second picture, you can see how far the snow is up against the condo building, half way up the door... The last picture is mom and dad townsend's house. Dad had to buy a special shovel to get all this snow off of their drive way and pile it up on the mountain of snow that was already there!!
