We reunite once again...

Well we were feeling badly that a month and a half has already gone by since we have met up with China and Chinedu again... but I guess it has been a busy one at that.

So tonight, it worked!!!! A last minute supper deal with China and Chinedu and their two girls Zizi and Kamara over to our place!!!

We had a good time with them.... I don't know who had more fun :) We brought out the bubbles for ZIZI.... too bad it we didn't have swimming gear on cuz it turned out to be rather soapy out on the deck ;)

and lil baby sis.... had to get a quick one cuz she knew it was home time.... :(

TRAVELING SUPPER IN M.L.!!!!!

We had a fun day today in ML. Three families here got together and had a traveling supper. Brian and Janelle started us off with Appetizers..... (note the sushi below.....none other than the famous Brian Letkemann's ideas) Janelle made some YUMMY spinach dip and very very tasty veggie pizza.

Then we were off to Bill and Linda's!!! Wow.....amazing cooks they ARE too!!! We had a sweet evening outside with a very delicious G.O.U.R.M.E.T. hamburger supper!!! yummm.... I would have had more than one....except they were huge!!!! and topped it off with fried mushrooms and onions..... and a side of fried potatoes!

Last....was our place....with the deserts! Oooo did I have fun doing this. (My hubby helped me out a bit too, but he was on nights, so didn't get a chance to get his hands busy with the deserts too much) It was my first time doing a fruit bouquet.... Which was SOOOOO F.U.N.! They do take a lot of time though. I had a head of cabbage in the base of the pot plus a big navel orange on top of it to give the fruit bouquet some more height in the middle. Other than that, I only used two different sized skewers.

The other desserts were Orange Chocolate Mouse Cake, Raspberry Delight and Homemade Peach Gelato in frozen orange bowls.

A biking trip......turned into a hiking trip!

Yesterday Dean and I decided we would take our bikes out to the sand hills about 20 mins away. Who woudda thought that biking in the sand was SO HARD!!!! and not to mention..... very dangerous. I can see how someone could easily injure themselves verrrrrrry badly if not get killed. yikes!


Oh well, didn't have to worry about that too much, we got about 3 mins on the trail and Dean's chain s.n.a.p.p.e.d! Not good! So our little biking excursion was cut short....very short. But it was just as well I guess, seeing as it wasn't the safest place to be on bikes..... and back home to finish up the house cleaning and be ready for mtg at our place for the first time on wed's (1,2 and 5th)

And this is what was next on the agenda after a long...oh no, wait, ..... short bike ride..... soakin in some VIT D!

Missing this boy again.....ugh.

We made a quick trip to Stoon for Mother's Day and a special tea party for Jyles on Saturday.

Julie just sent me this pic from this past weekend and I love it! I don't remember the last time we had a pic just the two of us.... but this one is especially fun with our only nephew in it now too!!!!

So I sit here alone..... on a beeeeautiful sunday eve...

Except I am a blubbering mess cuz I am sitting here alone. My sister, brother in law..... baby Jyles and mom and dad were here to visit since Thursday night!!! And now they are gone.... and my hubby is off to work for the night :(

We had a super duper weekend... just hanging out... the six of us + one wee one :) Jyles was a trooper for being away from home for the weekend and getting smothered with kisses, snuggles and lots of stares!!!!! We just couldn't take our eyes off of him the whole time.... what are you to do when he is wayyyyy toooo CUTE?!??!??!!

I wish my camera took better pics.... I think its on its way out. But it has served us over a million pictures probably since the day we got it for my birthday 3 years ago! Maybe it will be on the list for this years bday present???? My hubs hardly ever reads this.... so there is no hinting sense here, thats for sure :)

Thanks for coming guys!!!! Hope you had as much fun as we did!
