Wow, this summer has flown by.... we might as well say that basically its xmas time already! yikers! Anyone have a "stopwatch"?! Sometimes I wish we could stop time, but other times, its nice to see what is waiting for us right around the corner, whatever life brings!
It was really nice to have mom and pop and my sistah Julie and bro in law Sheldon come up for a few days towards the end of July. Hard to believe that that is almost a month ago already! Seriously, can't get over how much time flies and passes you by!
While they were here, Dean got dad and sheldon hooked on fishing! Sounded like they all had fun.... yes, they were crazy enough to get up before the crack of dawn... i think it was 3 am by the time they got out the door and off to the lake. They did this 2? mornings in a row. Phew! It was nice to have some fresh fish for a meal and then some! I think Dad caught the biggest fish, and they were all pike.
We also played Ladder Ball for the first time
Mom made us some home made rhubarb pies!!! YUM
