HARVEST 2011

This time of year is so bittersweet!!!!!

LOVE the beeeeeeautiful colours of the trees and fields when fall arrives!!! And especially where we live, lots of bush AND field.  We get the best of both worlds!

LOVE the cool, refreshing breeze, and the cozy feeling of being able to bundle up just a wee bit.... as in wearing bunny hugs, long sleeve shirts, and vests.... but NOT having to wear mitts and winter coats yet.

LOVE the holidays at this time of year too... September long, and Thanksgiving.... happy memories this time of year with family and friends. So much to be thankful for.

However, on the 'DO NOT like' side of things... this always means that gross cold time of year is also around the corner.  We'll enjoy this fall season though while it lasts!!!

My dad has been helping another fellow out near home this year.  Kind of fun for him to be back in the combine, after being away from it for 20 years or so.  So much has changed in technology since those days.  Dad and the crew took a cool pic of combining a river lot near Batoche.  LOVE this photo!!!!

And speaking of my dear dad and harvest, here is another photo that I will always hold near and dear to me!!!  Mom entered it in some Country Magazine and one first prize..... WHOO HOOOO $15.00 IN 1984. lol.
